Information We Collect
When you submit an inquiry, purchase a print, or join our collector list, we collect the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and any messages you send. We do not collect payment information directly — all payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to purchase inquiries and send Stripe payment links
- To fulfill and ship print orders
- To send collector notifications about new editions (only if you opted in)
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it (via Google Analytics)
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers necessary to fulfill your order: Stripe (payment processing), shipping carriers, and MailerLite (email delivery for subscribers who have opted in).
Data Retention
Inquiry and order information is retained for up to 7 years for tax and business record purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see CCPA section below). Email subscribers are retained until unsubscription.
Cookies & Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic patterns. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We do not store credit card numbers or payment information on our servers. All financial transactions are handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information.

Submitting a CCPA Request
To exercise any of your CCPA rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 45 days. You may submit a request on behalf of yourself only — we will verify your identity before processing.
Terms of Sale
Order Process
All purchases of open edition prints are processed through Stripe's secure checkout. Limited edition acquisitions are fulfilled by inquiry — you will receive a Stripe payment link by email within 48 hours of submitting your request. No payment is collected automatically and no charge occurs until you complete the Stripe payment link.
Pricing
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but any order confirmed via payment link will honor the price stated in that link.
Sales Tax
California sales tax will be applied to orders shipping to California addresses, in accordance with California state law. Stripe calculates and collects applicable sales tax at checkout.
Print Production
All prints are produced to order on Hahnemühle archival paper using pigment inks. Open edition prints ship within 7–10 business days of payment. Limited edition prints ship within 10–14 business days and include Certificate of Authenticity and edition documentation.
Edition Integrity
Once a limited edition is closed, the original file is permanently deleted and no further prints of that image in that edition are ever produced. Edition numbers are permanent and documented on the Certificate of Authenticity.
License & Use
Purchase of a print grants the buyer the right to display the physical print privately or commercially. No reproduction rights, digital rights, or copyright are transferred with any sale. All copyright remains with Ben Ryan Photography.
Shipping Policy
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Open edition prints ship free within the continental United States via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Estimated delivery 3–7 business days after production (7–10 business days total from payment).
Prints up to 16×20 in ship flat-packed in rigid mailers. Prints 24×30 in and larger ship rolled in archival tubes. All shipments are insured.
International Shipping
International shipping is available and quoted individually based on destination and print size. International shipping costs will be included in your Stripe payment link after confirmation. Estimated international delivery is 10–21 business days. The buyer is responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes levied by their country.
Tracking
A tracking number will be emailed to you upon shipment. If you have not received a tracking number within the production window, please contact us.
Damaged Shipments
If your print arrives damaged, photograph the damage and packaging immediately and contact us within 72 hours of delivery. All shipments are insured and we will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Returns & Refunds
We stand behind every print. If you are not satisfied, we will make it right.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your print for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense for change-of-mind returns. We cover return shipping for defective or damaged prints.
Damaged or Defective Prints
If your print arrives with any manufacturing defect, color inconsistency, or damage, we will replace it at no cost. Contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue.
Limited Edition Returns
Limited edition prints may be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Returned limited edition prints will be permanently retired from the edition — the edition count will reflect the returned print as permanently unavailable, maintaining edition integrity for all other collectors.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned print.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom framing orders are non-returnable unless defective. Digital files are non-returnable.
